New York style pizza, and sold by the slice. You may need to get a few extra slices, the pizza by slice was very thin. They seemed to only have two kinds to choose from, a cheese, and a pepperoni with spices. I wish they had the option to add some toppings of your choosing!! They put the slices in the oven for a few minutes to toast everything up, and to warm up the cheese. Crust was very dry..

My fiancee and I freely admit, we are Pizza Snobs. Having grown up in Brooklyn and Queens, we know, there is nothing so good as a great slice of pizza. As the restaurant reviewer in the movie "Mystic Pizza" declared, I don't know what it is, the secret spices with just the right amount of cheese and sauce, but I know when I LOVE it. This was not the case for us at Conca D'Oro. Actually, this was the second time we had been there. On the first occasion we just ordered slices. They were dried out and tasteless like cardboard. We crossed that out to the fact that they might have been prepared during dinner time and then sat out for quite a while. We had come in about 8pm when our movie ended. If this was my establishment, I would have tossed them out rather than tarnish my reputation. After going out with my fiancee's sister, who raved about Conca D'Oro, we decided to give them another try. This time we weren't going to leave it to chance. We ordered a custom whole pie. Well, not much was gained. To add to our disappointment the service was pathetic. The waitress forgot to bring us our beers. I tried to get her attention twice before I gave up and walked up to the counter. I made a second trip to the counter to get sauce for the pizza as it was almost void of this. I will credit them with well prepared and properly spiced sauce. Simply said, this was not a dinner we enjoyed and they have lost us as customers.

If you must eat pizza in Sag Harbor, this will do. Too doughy for my taste. If this is extra sauce, I don't want to know what a dry regular slice is like.

Pizza was really good! Not sure about the reviews calling it filthy!?? Perhaps they are used to organic gluten-free raw sustainable pizza places? The place is kind of a time capsule and hasn't been renovated since it opened probably which in my opinion is amazing and should never change. Anyhoo, the pizza is delicious. If you're looking for fancy or gourmet pizza this is not it. If you're looking for a some great NY pizza you found it. Don't listen to the negative reviews and just go here. You know you want to! And while waiting for your pizza go next door to Sylvester & Co. and treat yourself to something nice. You earned it!

Well you get 5 Stars mostly because of pure nostalgia. I grew up in Sag Harbor and I grew up on this pizza and it hasn't changed in 40 years. The salty drippy cheesy grease and that sweet sawce! One of the first places I come to when I visit home. A slice and a Pepsi (no Coke) Yum!

I stopped in on my way to work this evening and ordered a "small" (14") pizza. At just $15 for a pizza in Sag Harbor I didn't even consider the diameter and just assumed it would be a suitable dinner for one or two meals. The pizza was delicious and HUGE and delicious! I had to share with three co-workers so it would not go to waste. I will most certainly be back! I didn't find the place dirty or "filthy" at all. To me it was just a well lived in and loved eatery.

Nice pizzeria in Sag Harbor. Definitely a busy place during the season. The wait was not long. My advice is sit in the back. They at least have a few fans to cool down the place. It's way too hot to sit upfront and eat. You can feel the heat from the ovens. I xterm sly accommodating and fast to take the order and deliver. The main dishes are all served with a small salad. Pretty good. The bruschetta was superior. I never had on toasted garlic bread with a little meted cheese. It was phenomenal. We shared a small plain pizza. Also pretty good. If you want it a bit crustier let them. The mains came out pretty fast too. We shared the eggplant parm, meat lasagna, meatballs, and pasta bolognese. All delicious. Note they charge extra for a side of pasta. That's surprising. The main dishes avg about 20-23$$$ plus a side of pasta for another 3$. Kinda cheap that they charge extra. Overall the food and service was good. I'd eat here again

The pizza tasted great, but it must have been completely loaded with MSG. Both my mother and I were knocked out for almost 2 days after having pepperoni and sausage pizza here. If you don't mind MSG, the food is delicious--but we both felt awful after eating here.

First, the food is as good as everyone says. Excellent, actually. Very well prepared, full of flavor and generous portions. But why the One Star? For two important reasons: 1.) The service was dreadful. Almost non-existent. 2.) Conca D'oro is ABSOLUTELY FILTHY DIRTY! ( Unforgivable!) It was night time and the place is dark. We had not really noticed the surroundings until half way through our meal. Once we began to look around the place, we both lost our appetites and left our dinners half eaten. From the weird black "stalactites" (mold on cobwebs?) hanging from the filthy, old painted ceiling near the pizza oven- to the hopsack dining room curtains that have NEVER been laundered in over 20 years- to the stained tables and finally- the carpet! I've seen cleaner carpets in gas stations. The carpet looks like it has NEVER BEEN CLEANED or even vacuumed. EVER! I'm talking old GRIME! Years of it. (I know, I know... you don't eat meals off the floor so why mention the greasy, filthy rugs?) Why? Because it all begs the observation: if the public dining rooms are so visibly filthy, I cringe to think what the private kitchen look like! How sanitary can the chefs and waitstaff be here if no one takes the time to even vacuum the rug? If you're the owner and you're reading this, take this review seriously. I will never eat in that place again.

Hands down one of the best pizza places in the Hamptons. From NYC to the east end there are slim pickings, and this is definitely one of our family favorites.

Among the best pizzerias on the South Fork. This traditional New York City slice pie is classic cheesy, tomato awesomeness. If your looking for brick oven/thin crust check out World Pie. Quality ingredients and recipes. The minestrone soup is delicious. Their salads are delicious. And I disagree 100% with the one reviewer who didn't like the eggplant parm hero. I've eaten eggplant parm heros from Montauk to Hoboken NJ and all "Ristorante's" in between. Conca D'oro's eggplant parm, like the rest of their food, is delicious. I also love the family seating atmosphere. Love this place.

Pizzas does taste good BUT while waiting for take-out we watched the pizza maker consistently make change and handle money and then swing pizza dough without washing hands or wearing gloves. Super dirty and gross.

Very good pizza, but really needs to be renovated. It would be so much better with some sunlight and if it was seriously cleaned up and made brighter and newer. I would go much more often if it was more cheery and fresh. Location is great too. So much potential!!

Best pizza on the south fork! We get pizza here regularly (aka at least once a week) and have never had a complaint. Love the staff! Only downside is when they're closed for the month of February.

Its around the corner from our summer house, we love the pizza, and they are always nice and friendly!

Food was good - We enjoy good pasta and salads. The place was quite busy and a constant flurry of phone orders as we listened from the dining area. Service was ok - not exceptional and more task oriented than engaging conversation. Overall appearance needs renovations and clean up.

Great pizza....especially for those trying to gain weight fast! Contrast to the worst eggplant parm hero I have had in a long time....eat the pizza, eat the salad, DO NOT go near the eggplant parm hero. They also have a restaurant, open after 5PM, and for some strange reason, the best, hands down, eggplant parm dinner around. I am a fan of old school Italian, and this is really old school Italian.

There's no better place to get Pizza while in Sag. I know someone who had it flown to MIA for them. It's that good! The other items on their menu are just as amazing. It's a staple in the town of Sag Harbor and I can't wait for my next slice!

The food here is phenomenal! I've been eating at Conca D'oro since I was a little kid and I love how it never changes. The decor is so cozy and makes you feel like you are eating in your living room! It is the perfect place for families. The pizza is so delicious and if you decide to sit down in the back for an entree, I recommend the Mimmo, which is a pasta and pink cream sauce dish. It also has ham and mushrooms in it. So good! The baked ziti never disappoints, as well as the eggplant parm. The portions are enormous so I usually doggy bag my meal and get lunch for the next day. Garlic knots and salad are always provided before the entrees. The garlic knots are super doughy with the right amount of oil and garlic. Although the salad is simply iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, the creamy italian dressing is out of this world! I have looked for this dressing elsewhere and it never tastes the same as Conca D'oros'. I love how this restaurant is always consistently good. Conca is truly a Sag Harbor treasure!

best pizza in the hamptons! the gorgonzola salad is a fantastic starter to share, or enough as a main course. The ravioli is homemade, thin and filled with buttery cheese. Eggplant parm is another fav on the menu. It is loud and filled with kids during the summer on the weekends, but is worth it for a casual family meal.

Seriously the best place to grab a slice in Sag Harbor. No matter what I always stop in to this place at some point to indulge. Located in the heart of Sag Harbor, its so easy to just go in, order up, and stroll the streets, pizza in hand to enjoy the weather. Or sit down and enjoy the buzz of the summer life. Staff is great, quick, and efficient. Never much of a wait, even on their busiest of nights. Definitely a must.

worst slice of pizza i have ever eaten - not sure why people are giving it 4 stars? giving it two stars as I'm feeling generous

Hands down best pizza in Sag Harbor and maybe even the Hamptons. I love the feel of the place, though you have to push your way to the counter to order which I don't mind.

Careless! I don't know what has happened to this place, but I recently bought a sausage and pepper pizza to go. We got it home and opened it, and it was a mess! They had basically taken a plain cheese pizza, cooked it, and then set it on the counter for 30 minutes, threw a pile of quartered peppers that were way too big to eat in one bite and then threw them in a pile with the shaved sausage in the middle of the pizza. I won't waste my time or money here again.

Love this place. It's not on the menu, but order the chicken parm with vodka sauce. So yummy!!! Not so great for large groups during the summer as they're almost always full to the brim!

I say its the best slice in the Hamptons. The closest thing to a good New York Style pizza in a an area where everyones trying to be "fresh mozz and diced tomato etc.." Not a fancy place, but as Biggie Smalls once said... "You can never ever ever wear that platinum ice, at that same jump-off SPOT where you copp dat Good Slice" in rich dummy terms- fancy places rarely have good slices.

3.745 It's great pizza. It's good heroes. Definitely been there a while. It's not as awesome as everyone would have you think though. Great place to go in and grab a slice. I have not a bad word to say about it. Fast service, good stuff, okay prices..

We walked around Sag Harbor looking for a reasonably priced place to eat that could seat us relatively quick. I had no idea I was about to eat the best veggie pizza of my life. I'm serious. I live in NYC and thought I'd never eat better pizza anywhere; so much so that I've stopped eating pizza anywhere else but NYC. But Conca D'oro could seat us so we did it. Many of the pasta dishes sounded amazing, but we went with the everything veggie. I don't even know what was all on there, but it was sooooo good! Sadly, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was our waitress. We had to waive her down a couple times to get refills, a highchair, napkins...She never checked on us. If you're only in Sag Harbor for the day, don't succumb to the seafood pressure. Italian in a whaling town, go for it! This was a great dinner!

If you want a NYC Slice in the Hamptons, this as good as it gets. I don't think I can say this any clearer. All in all while this isn't a place I would give five stars to (would give it a solid 3.5-4) if it was in the city - this is as good as this gets in the Hamptons for pizza (as far as I've come across) Usually crowded but never a long wait. Solid pizza, good price and no-frills ambience. You want to plug into the scene, head somewhere else. You want a slice? Here you are.

It's nothin' fancy, but it's by far the best slice you can get out East. (I prefer the square over the regular.) As for dinner, the portions are enough to feed a small army so the prices aren't bad at all since I've eaten like 3 meals from a single order.

This restaurant is fine. Not good - fine. Food - We had a pizza with cheese and olives. It was pretty good, although not very interesting or remarkable. Reminded me of Domino's. The linguine with clams was pretty good. The clams were not fresh, but they rarely are, so I can't fault them for this. Atmosphere - Not good. The pizza counter up front reminds you that this is more of a take-out spot. And not in a charming sort of way. Service - It was pretty bad. I feel bad saying this, b/c I think the woman wanted to do a good job, but she screwed up our pizza order and then rushed out all dishes at the same time. If you are looking for Italian in the Hamptons, I would recommend CittaNuova in East Hampton.

  • Dan G.

One of the best Italian restaurants on the east end. Completely unpretentious, unlike many other restaurants in the Hamptons. You can get great pizza, or have a seat in the back for a super plate of pasta. Try the linguine with white clam sauce, or one of my favorites Penne ala Mimo. Say hi to Frankie up front making the pizza.

First, understand that this is a neighborhood pizza joint wih a dining room. Once you understand that, all I can say is that is is one of the best of its kind. I grew up in NYC where there are thousands of these places so I know. They have NY Pizza, all kinds of spagetti and pastas, meatballs, Parmesans, etc. The service is fine and all the food comes out BURNING hot. Portions are huge and nothing is over priced. It is one of those places where the owner is always there and makes sure everything is perfect and the customers are happy. This Robert guy who writes the review below this one is suggesting you go to a suedo chic place that serves something completly different so his comments make no sense.
